Abstract submission

Please submit your previously unpublished abstract by e-mail to puijosymposium@kultu.fi by February 28, 2027.

Abstracts will be selected on the basis of scientific merit and presented as poster presentations.

All abstracts will take part in The Ralph S. Paffenbarger Jr. Poster Award unless the author inform his/hers unwillingness. Notification of the acceptance will be made by March 31, 2027.

All abstracts will also be seen at the congress venue as e-posters running as a non-stop presentation on screen size 42" (aspect ratio 16:9). Posters should be sent to puijosymposium@kultu.fi as a good quality JPG file no later than April 30th, 2027.

All authors of accepted abstracts are required to give an oral presentation during the poster session on Wednesday, 30 June, at Original Sokos Hotel Puijonsarvi.

Instructions for the preparation of abstracts and advice for posters:

Heikki Pekkarinen Memorial Award will be delivered for the fourth time in the 24th International Puijo Symposium. The Award is to honour Heikki's pioneering and extensive commitment in developing both the substance as well as modern teaching methods in health sciences.
